    Martinez to return vs B’mouth

Manchester United are set for a big injury boost ahead of the Premier League clash against Bournemouth on Friday night.

The Red Devils returned to winning ways with a 3-1 victory over Aston Villa at Old Trafford last weekend. Casemiro, Matheus Cunha and Benjamin Sesko were the goalscorers.

United have a short turnaround time before their next game, given they will be in action against the Cherries on Friday night. Ahead of the clash, the club are set for a timely boost.

Lisandro Martinez has missed the last four matches with a calf problem, but the Argentine is poised to return to team training and could be fit to make the matchday squad on Friday.

However, the game may come too soon for the World Cup winner to start. He could be handled carefully, considering he has a concerning injury record.

Leny Yoro has fared well alongside Harry Maguire in central defence in recent matches and the duo are poised to continue on the South Coast on Friday.
