    Tinubu Appoints Nollywood Producer/Cinematographer as Aide

    The creative industry has received a presidential nod following the appointment of Nollywood’s Baba Agba as Special Assistant on Creativity to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

    Before his appointment, Agba, a 32 year old cinematographer and priducer, served as head of the Creative Economy Thematic Group, CETG, within the Nigerian Economic Summit Group, NESG, between 2021 and 2023.

    Between 2020 and 2023, he was the National Secretary of the Association of Movie Producers, AMP.

    Agba, an award winning cinematographer, also flaunts an impressive laurels including an Excellent Creativity Award from the United Nations World Trade Organisation, UNWTO.

    Immediate past Head of the Department of Cinematography for Film and TV at Ebonylife Academy, Agba is expected to serve in dual capacity-Special Assistant to the President on Creativity and also Special Adviser to the Minister on Film, Music, and Entertainment.
