    The Lagos State Infrastructure Maintenance and Regulatory Agency, with the support of the Nigerian Communications Commission, will commence a pilot telecommunications infrastructure cleanup exercise in Lagos State. Source at LASIMRA told Techeconomy that the Agency has intensified efforts toward enforcement of regulations against the improper installation of telecommunications cables, fiber optics, and utility infrastructure, which pose safety risks and cause environmental degradation.
